Chavon Johnson is a 35 year old mother of four from Kenner, LA who currently resides in Laplace. She is studying to become a social worker at Delgado Community college with the intentions of transferring to Southern University of New Orleans next fall. About the Slave Rebellion Reenactment, Chavon says, “Being a part of the project is exciting. It actually sparked my interest to learn more about the Slave Rebellion in depth.”
