Hand Sewing Workshop
These workshops are developed to be a community engaged and within the tradition of Sewing circles. Historically, they functioned as a space to support political causes through the artistry of sewing. The Slave Rebellion Reenactment project will host a series of sewing circles and costume workshops as a way to spark conversation and community engagement around a reenactment of the largest armed rebellion of enslaved people in United States history.
